Webworld 2006

Wouldn't it be nice to be a tekkie?

I don't really have the time though.

The blogs like LAist and LAObserved are the coolest, huh?

How do they make them? Using what?

Is it Wordpress or Typepad?

HELP!!!! I want to link like you do--we are FROZEN when it comes to news here in Santa B.

Doc Searls knows I bet.

I don't know, but I could probably find out. But I think your best bet is to go with a WordPress blog, if you're flying solo. Or with Drupal or Joomla if you're a group of people.

Look over them, see what you like.

All three are open source, which means they'll be alive for a long time and have large development communities keeping them current. You also are not at the mercy of a single company as the source of the software. And your archives will be portable to another server or hosting service.

You are so FAB Doc Searls, many thanks!

I tried using the trackback for the Independent link about the journalism awards but maybe it doesn't work with bloggger...Thank you so, even though we've never met!

Plus look how kind bloggers are!

It's true!

The Doc Searls RULES!
